Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 7:30 PM is Euclid Hockey Night with the Lake Erie Monsters. (Originally thought to be March 5th, correction to March 4th as of last week). In addition to a discounted ticket package for the evening ($ 11.00) our Mite 1 and ADM players have been invited to take part in a scrimmage/hockey presentation during the 1st intermission of the game. Depending upon the number of players who attend the game and also take part in the scrimmage will determine our format for the evening. Currently the plan will be that we will divide up into 4 groups (2 from Mite 1 and 2 from ADM) and play simultaneous 1/2 ice games at either end of the rink. If the number of players is relatively small we will only divide into 2 teams and play full ice games. This should be determined on or before Wednesday, March 2nd. Details regarding check-in, report time etc are forthcoming and should also be available on March 2nd (after my meeting with the Monsters)
The March 4th game vs. The Rockford Ice Hogs is also a "Pink the Rink" event. In addition to special Pink Ice fans are encouraged to wear Pink for the evening (if you are not wearing your Euclid Hockey Spirit Wear). Also, please mentions "Gypcee's Angels" and are part of Central Lake County Relay for Life. While we are not certain, there is a chance that with this mention, the Monsters will donate a portion of the tickets to help them in there "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" team fundraising efforts!
The special ticket pricing is available by using the attached form and either dropping off to Rick Kish (or the Hockey Director mailbox in the Coach's Office at the rink) on or before Monday, February 28th or mailing to the Monster's at the address on the bottom of the form. I will be available on Monday, February 28th from 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM (at the rink) to answer any questions or assist with the ordering of tickets.
